Hi,
I started in the ecosystem a few years back in a pretty similar scenario. This is what worked for me back in the day:
1. Get a Developer Sandbox from your Org. Usually there are many licenses available cause Salesforce includes lots of them. This will give you a place to play and practice with the workflows and automations that you already use and know from your Sales Lead role.
2. Use your expertise and background as Sales Lead to practice, try to build what you want to have as a Sales Lead. Of course you can use Trailhead, AI, Salesforce Ben and other Forums to find how-to... What is important here is that you can use your current expertise to leverage your Salesforce skills, and who knows, you may get your first deployed solution from there!
3. Get practice exams. I've been using Focus on Force for all my certifications and they usually worked pretty well. Here, it is important that you get the type of questions that Salesforce asks, how they are phrased and identify the tricky ones... because yes, some questions are tricky, so that will get you better prepared for the exam.
Trailhead works, especially if you are starting, but I think is important to understand how to apply that knowledge in your day-to-day.

Hi everyone!
Could someone please guide me on how I can get a free Salesforce certification voucher through Trailhead
?
I’d really appreciate it if anyone could share information about any current Trailhead challenges, events, programs, or opportunities that offer free certification vouchers.
Thank you in advance for your help!

4 sept, 9:06 Hi @Tasmiya Ustad,
There isn't a general free certification voucher available to everyone through Trailhead. However, there are a few legitimate ways to get a free or discounted Salesforce certification voucher:
- Trailhead Quests – Salesforce periodically runs Quests where certification vouchers may be offered as prizes. Completing a Quest does not necessarily guarantee a voucher, as some are based on eligibility and/or selection.
- Certification Days / Salesforce events – Keep an eye on official Salesforce certification events. Some Certification Days programs provide attendees with a 50% exam voucher, subject to the applicable terms.
- Trailblazer Community events – Local Salesforce community groups and events sometimes conduct competitions or giveaways that may include certification vouchers.
- Salesforce Partner program – If you work for a Salesforce Partner, check internally with your company or Partner Account Manager. Partners may have access to a limited number of certification vouchers or discounts.
I would recommend checking the official Trailhead Quests and Trailblazer Community events regularly rather than relying on unofficial voucher codes or sellers.
Best of luck with your certification journey! 👍
Hope This Helps !!
Hello everyone!
I’m proud to be working in a Salesforce org and have gained over 2 years of hands-on experience with
Service Cloud. Most of my work has been focused on improving customer service processes, automations, and case management.I noticed there aren’t many roles specifically titled “Service Cloud Expert,” but I’m eager to explore opportunities where I can leverage my expertise in Service Cloud to deliver value.
If anyone has guidance or opportunities related to Service Cloud roles, I would greatly appreciate your suggestions and support!

Hi,
I’m Jessie and I have been a salesforce admin in the past but would like progress to becoming Salesforce designer. I’ve taken a look at both the UX designer path and Strategic Designer path. Both of them look like something I might be interested in pursuing. Is it possible to pursue both specialties or would that not be a good idea…
Warmly,
Jessie

Both definitely would be great to learn side by side!
And would make you a very valuable asset in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Go for it Jessie!
