There is the ability to report on Cadences with Monthly metrics (seen below), but the business folks at the org I'm supporting want to see Daily or Weekly cadence metrics. Is this possible? I haven't seen a way to accomplish this via custom Report Types.

Also, is this a normal/reasonable request? I don't see anyone else questioning these missing metric intervals in the community at all which leads me to believe that standard sales orgs are fine with monthly cadence reporting without getting more granular. Daily/Weekly reporting all seems to be done at the User/Rep level.

Cadence Reporting: Is there a way to report on Cadence Daily or Weekly Metrics?

We are currently facing an issue with a user in our organization who cannot view any activity in their 'my feed.'

They have a ton of email activity, and I have run reports and evaluated leads to ensure there is engagement to show.

I've thoroughly examined all permission sets, filters, etc., and everything appears to be configured correctly.

The user's setup mirrors that of others in the same role, and they all can access their 'my feed' in their work queues. Additionally, the email connection has been verified, and no issues were identified.

Note: I did create a case and connect with Salesforce Support already, and no issues were found.

Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?

Have you compared the user on the team with another user on the same exact role? I’d make sure they have the same user license, profile settings, permission sets, same place in role hierarchy, sharing rules, territories, teams, etc. Could there be some type of coded Apex sharing that was done that is interfering? Also, what is the OWD for Activities in the org? Controlled by Parent or Private?

In case you have not found this yet...I was unable to edit saved cadences today that were created with Builder 2.0 and Support shared this with me:  Cadences formed with version 2.0 builder unable to be edited

Is there any way if we can create an automated action to update a field on prospect record once the prospect completes the cadence?

Thanks in Advance.

I have been trying to create\find a report that shows when the next steps will come due in a cadence.  You can see this information at the Contact\Lead record on the Sales Engagement tab.  I have tried to use the Leads and Cadence Trackers and added the Current Step and the Due Date Time field, but I am looking for more so our Account Managers can plan ahead, but all I see is the Current Cadence Step and the Last Completed Cadence Step.  And I cannot get a Due Date for the Wait Step and I am thinking because all of these steps have the same label.  Would be nice if we could rename these (and some of the other Elements we cannot rename) so we see them broken out in reporting.

Very same issue we're having as well.  Trying to determine how to report on each Lead and the cadence steps taken, not just current and previous one step.  I'm certain we were told all details would be available to us Admins.

Hi there,

We don't use Sales Engagement at the moment. We work from opportunities and currently when an opportunity meets a certain Stage, automated emails are sent to the primary contact associated to that opportunity.

We are looking at moving to use Sales Engagement, so I'd like to clarify, is there a way to use cadences to achieve this automation. Ideally we'd like to say:

  1. When Opportunity reaches XXX stage, add the primary contact (related to that opp) to  specific Cadence 1, and send them automated emails (via the cadence).
  2. When the Opportunity moves to YYYY stage, exit the primary contact from Cadence 1, add them to Cadence 2, and send them automated emails (via the cadence).
  3. etc etc as they move through opportunity stages and we want them to get different emails. (or can you send them different emails via the same cadence if they have progressed to a different opportunity stage)

So, can you use opportunity stages as the criteria for putting the contact related to that opportunity onto a cadence?

If so, could you tell me how?

Many thanks,

Naomi

Hey Naomi - I think this can be achieved using record triggered flows and the different invocable actions related to sales cadences. The listener elements within cadence builder are centered around engagements (opens, replies, etc.) and not necessary record updates. That being said, I think you'd need to create a few different record triggered flows to not only add your targets to a cadence but remove them as the opportunity stage updates. I've attached some relevant documentation below.

    Hope this helps,

    Will

We have integrated zoom with salesforce. We're trying to call a lead which is present in a cadence, on calling it should display the Lead's name in the zoom call log/pop up, but it's displaying some other contact name in it.

The Lead's phone number and the contact has the same phone number.

Has anyone faced this issue? How can we avoid it from happening?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

We've logged a case with zoom, zoom team suggested to use 'Zoom for lightning' package as we've using older version of zoom (Zoom for Phone).

Now in my org, I've installed  'Zoom for lightning' package and configured it. And I'm also having the 'Zoom for phone' in org.

On click to dial or from Work queue or clicking on phone icon it's opening old phone.

What changes need to be done to make zoom automatically choose new phone (CTI Phone) from 'Zoom for lightning' package? (Without uninstalling the old package Zoom for Phone)

    Any help is appreciated.

Hello, Everyone

I am stuck in one situation, I have Einstein Activity Capture permission set in Unlimited Edition Sandbox, But I can't able to assign this permission set to any user.

How can I assign this PS to a User? Does anyone have any idea? #SalesEngagement #Einsteinactivitycapture

Appreciate for Answer.

Thanks

Every User has to have a license. Visit the User Detail Page in setup and look at the license field. Usually, this will be listed as "Salesforce" as the license. There are some licenses that don't allow for Activity Capture, so if they're assigned one of those licenses, that could be why you're getting an error.

I've cloned ' Leads and Cadence Trackers' report type and created a new report type by adding  'Current cadence step: due date time'. But as user I couldn't able to see due dates, it's showing as null. (attached screenshot) Currently user is assigned with 'Sales engagement cadence Creator Included' permission set.

Display user's Cadence due dates in report

Does the 'Current cadence step: due date time' dates will be visible to all users who are using the report or it'll display only user's due dates?

How can we display all user's 'Current cadence step: due date time' to their manager? Is there any permission set needs to be assigned to make due date field visible in report.

Any help is appreciated.

@Sai Manoj Aki You're not able to sort by activity type. However you can filter by activity type. Select filter > Active Targets > Then select the activity type you'd like to filter by.
