@Tracy Kronzak All of those documents find their way to the Knowledge tab. The PDFs are only meant to be temporary and are typically tweaked/updated before they're finalized for documentation. For example, honor/memorial and matching gifts are already there - and In Kind should be posted very soon. (@Jon Michael Varese @Sarah Marovich)

Our multi environment testing identified an issue with the 3.63 release in multicurrency orgs.  We've fixed the bug and created 3.64 which includes the bug fix.  3.64 is now being pushed to sandbox orgs.

We will still be pushing to production on schedule next Tuesday, it will just be 3.64 instead of 3.63.

The release notes haven't changed so please use the original release announcement thread for discussion of the new features in 3.64:

No, it still works with regular multi-currency but not advanced multi-currency. It is due to rollup calculations

Nonprofit Starter Pack version 3.62 was pushed to production earlier this morning.

Changes

  • Thanks to @Christian Carter  for contributing improvements to lead conversion.
  • This release includes new Lead fields for Company Address, which should be added to profiles and page layouts.
    • Company Street
    • Company City
    • Company State
    • Company Postal Code
    • Company Country
  • Previously when on the Address settings page, if you enabled verification and didn't select a service, it would uncheck the enabled box for you, but didn't give you notice of that. Now you are alerted to this so you can decide what you want to do about it.

Issues Closed

#900: As a developer, I want to delete (if possible, otherwise deprecate) the UTIL_GlobalSchedulable, UTIL_GlobalSchedulable_TEST, and UTIL_IScheduled once all clients have the new master scheduled jobs running

#1643: People/Address Settings: silent save failure

#1825: Scheduling payments on Closed/Lost Opportunity does not create any Payments

#1839: Lead conversion creating an opportunity should populate opportunity's primary contact field

#1846: When converting a lead, I may want the opportunity created to be related to a contact's primary affiliation

#1896: Allocations: Donation of $0 allows allocation of arbitrarily large dollar amount.

There are also some new fields on Lead you'll want to enable visibility for your Lead-using profile(s) and add to your Lead page layout.

What's the status of pushing NPSP 3.62 to production? I have been watching for an announcment of that, but haven't seen one yet.

Nonprofit Starter Pack version 3.57 was pushed out to sandboxes earlier this week.  The full release notes are available on Github:

https://github.com/SalesforceFoundation/Cumulus/releases/tag/rel%2F3.57

Two changes to highlight in this version:

  • Two new custom settings have been added to the NPSP Settings, Payments page: Opp RecTypes Excluded for Payments and Opp Types Excluded for Payments. These settings allow you to specify types and recordtypes of Opportunities to exclude from creating Payments.
  • This release includes a new set of Health Check reports to help identify records with issues called out by Health Check. Special thanks to @Barbara Christensen for helping with the reports during the NPSP Community Sprint.

3.57 will be pushed to production orgs next Tuesday evening (Dec 8th).  Please check your sandbox orgs and report back any issues.

FYI, the "auto close opportunity when all payments paid" feature isn't enabled by default.

You have to tell NPSP which Closed/Won stage to use for the feature to work. Visit the NPSP Settings page and look in the Payments section for this setting. If you don't specify which stage to use, then opportunities won't be automatically closed (at least not by this feature).

Anyone out there that uses Accrual basis accounting and NPSP that I can talk to?  I'm trying to understand how to start correctly from the beginning so that I will have reports that work properly when I have pledges that cross fiscal years (sometimes multiple fiscal years) and I want to be sure the payments are accounted for properly.  We are also using Click and Pledge, and I'm working with them to see how I might work this on their end - just at the moment they are considering how this can be done.

Any advice would be helpful - it may be I'm thinking wrong or overthinking this, but am I correct in thinking that if a pledge is dated and counted in say, August of last year, in full - the payments would all have to have a particular date or field that would mean they would not be counted when they post?

Looking forward to the updates as I've been searching the HUB regarding a similar question! As I am brand new to this forum, is there a good way to stay updated on this particular issue (i.e.pledge payments showing in donation totals)? I'm hoping I don't have to go back and reenter/rework how all the data from our capital campaign has been set up!

Here's a little pre-weekend treat that @Jon Michael Varese

and I are thrilled to share with you.

When we push out a

#NPSPNewRelease

that has new fields or objects, Administrators have to go in and edit Profiles so the new fields are visible to themselves and other users. We always mentioned these needed changes in our release notes, but folks often fell behind in making changes or didn't know exactly where to go to make these fields visible.

Well, there's a Doc for that now! Thank you so much to

@Audrey Hagen for her great work on this! Now you can be sure that when we release new fields directly to your org, you know how you can take advantage of them. 🙂

Nonprofit Starter Pack version 3.46 was pushed to sandboxes last night. The full release notes are available on Github:

https://github.com/SalesforceFoundation/Cumulus/releases/tag/rel%2F3.46

The most notable new feature in this release is a feature to send Acknowledgment Emails to donors thanking them for their donation. Full details on configuring the feature, and using the feature, will be documented on the Power of Us Hub.

3.46 will be pushed to all production orgs on the evening of Tuesday, July 14. Please check your sandboxes and repot any issues before then.
