Thank you to all who joined us at the #Agentforce

Community Tour in Temple, Texas. ❤️  

 

Our workshop focused on the Data Cloud portion because it lays the groundwork. Beginning with data sets the tone for all that follows. We also welcomed some new faces to the gathering!  

 

Salesforce also provided some amazing swag for the event! So everyone got to go home with something. Plushies, Socks, Sunglasses, Stickers, Buttons. Pins, Pens 🎁

Thank you to those who could attend the Wednesday meeting hosted by Tristan Lombard, which had a great session on "Building Your Salesforce Professional Network Your Way."

Did you know that 39% of Americans identify as introverts? Even if socializing isn’t your natural comfort zone. Here are a few takeaways that I found helpful.

✅ Be Authentic: Build a personal brand that reflects your true self. 

✅ Master the DM: Crafting meaningful and effective direct messages. 

✅ Protect Your Mental Health: Avoid comparisons, schedule social media breaks, and plan your content ahead of time.

✅ Face Your Fears: Acknowledge the nerves but push through by focusing on your goals.

✅ Remember Your Why: Stay grounded in your purpose for building connections.

✅ Worried about how others will perceive your content? "If they ain’t paying your bills, pay them no mind.” - RuPaul

The session was filled with practical advice and positive energy.

This evening, we hosted Engin Utkan, a Salesforce MVP and founder of Salesforce Break, Flow Canvas, and BRDPro Consulting, for a powerful session on Salesforce Flow Best Practices.

 

Here are a few nuggets of info that Andy shared with us:

✅ Decision-making and managing loops effectively

✅ Avoiding pitfalls like hard-coded IDs and unnecessary system context

✅ How to use rollback in screen flows

✅ Leveraging custom metadata and fault paths

✅ Harnessing the power of Apex invocable actions for complex scenarios

 

The session was packed with interactive discussions, practical takeaways, and a sneak peek into upcoming improvements in Flow testing!
