Hello Datablazer!

As you know, AI agents are only as good as the data feeding them. If customer data is fragmented across systems, AI can't deliver accurate experiences, creating what we call identity debt. Following my recent TDX session, I published a breakdown on the Salesforce Architecture blog: 4 Steps to Eliminate Identity Debt with Data 360.

Here is the quick framework:

1️⃣ Standardise – Cleanly ingest identity data.

2️⃣ Resolve – Build unified profiles with clear rules.

3️⃣ Harmonise – Align data models across systems.

4️⃣ Activate – Feed trusted context into your AI.

Mehmet kindly suggested to share the article in this community.

A couple of points he kindly raised (Thank you!): Cleansing and filtering bad data directly at the source is preferred whenever possible to prevent false matches during Data 360 transformations. Additionally, because Data 360 resolves phone numbers for matching without standardising their output, complex country-specific formatting is best managed using external enrichment services like Google’s libphonenumber.

Big thank you for Miriam McCabe for her amazing support throughout this journey.

I hope you'll find this article interesting and a valuable use of your time. Thank you and have a lovely weekend!

One of the biggest challenges we're seeing with AI agents isn't the models themselves—it's context.

A sales agent without customer history, a service agent without purchase or support context, or a marketing agent that doesn't know a customer recently opened a case will all make decisions with incomplete information. The same applies to operational workflows when agents can't access the business rules behind key decisions.

Giving agents access to trusted business context—data, relationships, permissions, and business logic—can make a significant difference in how useful they are across different workflows.

If you're interested in how Salesforce is approaching this with Data 360 Headless, Data 360 MCP Server, and prebuilt agent skills, we're hosting a live session that walks through the architecture and shows it in action.

🤔 If you can improve only one before your next Data 360 release. Which are you choosing?

A) Better data quality

B) Better Identity Resolution

C) Better governance

D) More connected data sources

Why?

👇 There's no wrong answer—we'd love to hear how your team thinks about these tradeoffs.
