Has anyone had success running Optimizer since Salesforce re-enabled it? It's been running for three days in one of our sandboxes, and I'm unsure if this is the expected behavior.

    @Sandeep Katta My org spent more than three days on this. I had the same question as you, so I raised a case with Salesforce Support. Now, it works, and I got the results.

Hello ,

 

I am trying to run the Optimizer on multiple orgs, and I am having this message :

 

 Optimizer Schedule Not Changed

Try again.

 

Is there an issue with the tool?

    Hi @Walid Sarkis,

     

    According to the bug report, the team has informed  that the Salesforce Optimizer tool has been temporarily disabled for ongoing maintenance.

     

    Additionally, multiple customers have reported the same issue, and we have observed the same behavior when replicating the issue in our test orgs.

     

    The bug has been logged under the reference number W-17301492.

     

    Unfortunately, the team does not have an estimated time of resolution yet, as this is a complex issue. However, they are prioritizing it and working diligently to resolve it as quickly as possible.

    Hi Bharath,

    Trailhead is down or working with less performance. Kindly wait for couple of days and then recheck.

    If the issue exists then we need to inform trailhead team.

I've seen multiple posts that the optimizer is under maintenance, so I wanted to ask if it's back on and how worth was it? Wanted to ask about real use cases you've been through, if any?

    Hi , 

     

    Try switching to Lightning Experience, go to Setup - Optimizer. To run Salesforce Optimizer you need these permissions: Customize Application, Modify All Data, AND Manage Users. Check out the links below for more information.

    Hello @Josh Jack, yes it now works on dev edition, sandbox and production instances.

Can we please get an update on the outage of the Optimizer? It has been almost three months since this was reported and still no update. @Niket Trivedi @Bogdan Brinza @Eric Shih
