Mostly interested in the do’s & don’ts of 360 degree view when data is scattered across multiple system, including ERP, extranet, and other applications.

• How to make SFDC an actionable application for your sales managers and other users

Again, when using Salesforce as just one of the platforms that deals with customers.

    Hi Alexander, I was a customer of Salesforce for 12 years struggling with exactly the same kind of questions you are asking. After building lots of custom apps of Salesforce, I decided to actually build a product to address the problem. The company is called Channel Portal and we are at booth N1042 in Cloud Expo North. Since I could not find anything available in the market to address my needs, I am calling this capability "channel revenue management". The goal is to give common visibility of each revenue stage — from order to payment — for all parties internal and external. This means that we look at what you call "360 degree view" from the view of the sales account team (including order ops and finance), the actual customer, and the channel partners (for people that sell thru channels). We are launching here at Dreamforce '14. One of the thing we are doing is trying to assemble a community of people interested in this topic. We will use Ideas to collect requirements and we are rewarding people to participate with the 1st prize winning $10,000. Also, I create a group called @Revenue Management. Looking forward to connecting either here at Dreamforce or afterwards
