Open Guide to Salesforce Solution Packaging on GitHub

To celebrate the first day of actual Summer, we're releasing the Open Guide to Salesforce Solution Packaging on GitHub.

* https://github.com/DreamOps/og-sfdx

The guide is written by-and-for package developers who use Salesforce solution packaging in the field.

If you've ever had to learn packaging lessons the hard way, then this guide is dedicated to you.

The guide aims to be a useful, living, positive reference that consolidates links, tips, caveats, and best practices.

The focus of this version is 1GP. I'm only getting started with 2GP now.

Contributions and feedback for for either approach are welcome!

@DreamOps Success Group @Robert Sösemann -- Static Analysis --I enjoy using Code Scan with SonarQube, but the pricing model just is not sustainable for us. Has anyone had success with using the Apex PMD plugin with SonarQube. I see Apex on the PMD site, and I grabbed the latest SonarQube, but I don't see any reference to using the Apex plugin. Or, just use the CLI, and shown here -- http://www.jitendrazaa.com/blog/salesforce/automated-code-review-for-apex-in-salesforce-static-code-analysis-video/

@DreamOps Success Group  - Just enjoyed a rare moment: a truly interesting vendor demo. Copado is a managed package on the AppExchange that matches our own release workflow bit-by-bit, with a couple of improvements in between.

Any feedback from anyone who may have tried Copado, or are using it now?

The appexchange "demo" is fun, but you need to schedule a walk thru to appreciate what it does.

    Hello Ted, Gary.

    Alberto from Copado here, I will be more than happy to answer any question you may have about Copado or any side-related topic such as Release and Change Management, Metadata API, etc.

Stub API Fail

I imagine anyone affected by last night's Stub API glitch is already in the loop by now, but here's the Known Issue, if you haven't chimed in.

NA48 Throttling? -- Anyone having issues with NA48 today?

I'm into the second hour of an Ant Migration Tool deployment stuck in pending.

The same deployment went fine yesterday.

    I did file a case, and then a few minutes later it finally went through. In the case, I was told that the performance team was aware of the problem. Just have to wait and see, I guess. We're landing on NA50 for new orgs.
