📬 Marketing Cloud Next takes care of your sending IPs automatically. But that doesn't mean you're off the hook for deliverability: https://mateuszdabrowski.pl/docs/salesforce/marketing-cloud/config/ip-warming-deliverability/

On @* Marketing Cloud Engagement * you have full control over deliverability, for good and for bad. On @* Marketing Cloud Growth & Advanced * the experience is more streamlined, but also controlled by Salesforce. You start on a shared pool of IPs, and you work your way out of it.

Once you cross ~5M emails/type/month, Salesforce rewards your achievement with a dedicated IP, and warms it on its own. Not much to do for you. No schedule, no throttling, no configuration. Marketing Ops dream? Almost.

There are still some important tasks on you:

🔵 You still need basic configuration to enable your first sends. And it's a bit stricter than it was on MCE.

🟠 IP reputation != Domain reputation.  A new sending domain (might) still need its own warming plan.

🔴 Monitoring is a must. It already was. Then it got must-er with tighter ESP bounce & complaint rate requirements. And now it is must-est with lower control over IPs and the impact of being demoted to the Gray Pool.

Full mechanics, the prerequisites checklist, and the monitoring options with setup guides are available now on my page.

Any other Marketing Cloud Engagement - Nonprofit Edition users out there who have come up on renewal and told you can't renew? If so, what option did you pursue? At this time, our renewal rep doesn't even know what replacement products he can offer us. He's working on getting us answers but I'm hoping to hear how others in the community have handled this. Thanks in advance!

Hi Team

I have published segment in SFMC from data cloud whihc uses relative attributes of DMOs. Because of these relative attributes the data is coming in JSON format.

I am using SSJS script to parse this data however script worked for few records but failing for large data. I have to parse around 3 lakh records or may be more than that.

Is there any other solution to parse segment data so that I can use it further.

    Hi @Ashwini Bodhade

You'll need to plan a logic to evaluate the number of iterations based on the total number of data received / 2500. Then using for loop, run the batches to flatten the JSON data out using a script activity. Implement a logging mechanism as well to log all the batch runs - success, failures etc. to gather as many details as possible for each batch runs, including retry mechanisms if possible.

Also, understand if the data can be processed incrementally for ongoing runs or not. And what's the max incremental load you can expect. This will give you enough info to plan your SSJS accordingly. If the load is too much, plan to chunk the data into 50-50% (as an example) and then allow your SSJS code to run on the chunked volume.

Hope this helps. Mark the answer as best if this is helpful for you.

    Cheers,

My team is looking for more detailed data on Cloud Page activity. If we send a marketing cloud email with a link to a cloud page, then someone clicks that link to the cloud page, and fills out a form embedded on the cloud page, or doesn't fill out the form, or does something else... essentially they want to see what someone does after they get to a cloud page and build out some triggers based on an action (or lack of action).

As far as I know, the analytics are limited. How can we get this level of information on a contact? Would GA4 be involved?

    Hi @Lindsay Stille

, Please plan to use any kind of tracking codes like GA4 tags or Adobe Analytics tagging scripts on the CloudPages. It should allow you to track page visits, activities etc. on CloudPages. If the CloudPage is hosted on website and if gated, then you could also attribute the tracking metrics to the respective customer, otherwise everything will be tracked against a visitor ID.

Another point to note, the adding to the tracking scripts will remain a manual activity for any new CloudPage you plan to implement with tracking mechanism.

Hope this helps. Please mark this as best answer if you find this helpful.

🧱 It's time for MC Next Business Units Architecture!

TL;DR: Default to a single BU until a hard requirement forces the split:

https://mateuszdabrowski.pl/docs/salesforce/marketing-cloud/config/business-units/

The decision tree in the article has an "Are you sure?" step for a reason... New Business Units work differently to what you know from the good old @* Marketing Cloud Engagement *

On @* Marketing Cloud Growth & Advanced * a Business Unit is a thin marketing layer over exactly one Data 360 Data Space. The Data Space is the real wall - no hierarchy, no per-BU login, everything you can access in one view, with a badge telling you where you are.

Three things to know before you click create:

🔵 It's forever. A Business Unit can't be deleted, deactivation is permanent, and the Data Space it consumed can never serve another one. You get 2 included with Advanced Edition, and can pay your way up to 150 total since Summer '26.

🟠 Splitting splits everything (duh!). Segments, flows, content and reporting all partition with the Data Space - cross-BU reuse means deployed copies (Data Kits, Common Assets), multiplied processing, and no consent sync!

🔴 Governance has one blind spot for the recommended Single BU approach. Data 360 row-level visibility control holds almost everywhere - except segment and Calculated Insight runs. Region filters on segments stay manual.

In the article, you will find a trade-off matrix (Data, Segments, Consent, Domains, Licensing, and more), architecture patterns, and the Global BU duplication tax.

Hi everyone!

Downloading reports from Marketing Cloud (Analytics Builder > Reports) I've noticed a typo on one of the column names it creates: the last metric it provides is conversions (total and rate) but in the first it says "converions".

Typo on Marketing Cloud's reports?

Is this a known typo? Is there any way to report it directly to Salesforce?

Thanks in advance!
