I'm a noob in tableau, trying to embed a dashboard to a web application but users need to login to see the dashboard, I then read about using playground which I tried but I'm getting {"result":{"errors":[{"code":10084}]}} error on the html page.

how do I fix this or what's the best way to embed a dashboard from tableau server into a web application using the connected app functionality?

    Hello @soft smart,

Firstly, you will need to ensure that the user credentials are embedded to the workbook, without these, the workbook will ask each user to login, and the secondly, you will need some form of guest account enabled in order to prevent the need for user login.

I'm not familiar with how TIL's playground works, although I can say embedding is a fairly straightforward task for example, this is the syntax I use to embed one of my Tableau Public hosted dashboards into my recipes page of my website:

    https://public.tableau.com/views/MostRequestedCharts/01_Bar?:showVizHome=no&:embed=yes&:toolbar=no

And the page: Datawonders | Recipes

Give my link a go see if you are able to embed it, then we can try to understand what might be going wrong for you.
