I am having a recurring issue: backgrounder is down after a few days since restarting the server and "Tableau Server is degraded" message shows in TSM. After a server restart however, everything is back to normal.
I know I should look at the logs but I do not have enough knowledge about Tableau administration to be able to analyze them...
Please advise.

Normally when backgrounder fails is to lack of RAM memory in the server. Check if the RAM is above 70% in nomal use, If it is above, it's time to give your Server more RAM memory. Also check hard disk free space.
