Since you created and opened the workbook using the same Tableau Desktop version (2026.2), this does not appear to be a version mismatch issue.
The error suggests that the workbook XML may have become corrupted, particularly around the worksheet-extension section.
I also noticed that the workbook is stored in a OneDrive-synchronized folder. Was the file being synchronized by OneDrive when the publish operation was running?
Do you have:
A .twb backup copy?
A .twbx version of the workbook?
Tableau Auto Recovery files available?
