We are a non-profit using NPSO and want to connect Quickbooks Online to Salesforce. If you have been down this path, I would love your feedback. What connector do you use? Are you happy with the results? Any pitfalls or difficulties I need to be aware of?
We went through this with NPSP and QuickBooks Online, and the main pitfall is being clear about ownership and IDs from day one. QBO is usually the source for invoices and payments, while Salesforce owns accounts, contacts, and donations, otherwise you’ll fight duplicates.
We tried a couple of connectors and landed on Skyvia since it handled NPSP objects, external IDs, and incremental syncs without a lot of manual cleanup. It worked well for day-to-day sync, but you still need to plan mappings carefully, especially for payments and refunds.
