Hey Trailblazers 

 

Our company is heavily using Microsoft Teams, so it doesn't look like Slack will be an option for us anytime soon. I know there is a MS Teams integration with Salesforce, however has anyone found good use cases for it? It looks like you can mention records in Teams, and edit them in a display view, but that's really about it. Does anyone have Sales or Service users that are finding benefit to that integration and if so, how are you using it?

    The Salesforce Teams integration you mention is mostly for the Teams users being able to interact with Salesforce, for pulling records.  I found this lacking, so I built my own AppExchange app that supports sending notifications with an aim to fully replace the Salesforce -> Slack capabilities. This would allow you to send Closed Won Oppty alerts, or High Priority Case notifications (or anything else you can dream up).
