It was previously in a closed beta and then a public beta. This releases fixes an issue where users can be logged out prematurely.

We deploy major and patch releases over several days to ensure stability. The updates aren’t necessarily available for all users until 7 days after the app becomes generally available.

The KI you linked is a salesforce platform change and should not need a mobile app update to resolve.

The engineering team has found a bug and is deploying a fix. As of now, the fix is in the testing phase and will be deployed to the SB org first, starting on August 6, 2024, with PROD deployments occurring in the following days.
