    Hi @Jon Mervis,

With Digital Engagement, SMS sending is subject to Salesforce platform limits and carrier regulations:

    • Daily/Monthly Volume → There’s no fixed Salesforce-imposed daily SMS cap, but usage is governed by your purchased Digital Engagement credits and carrier throughput (often ~1 msg/sec per phone number unless you register for higher throughput).
    • Governor Limits → If you try to push large sends (thousands at once), you’ll hit Flow/Apex transaction limits unless you batch/queue.
    • Compliance → U.S. carriers require A2P 10DLC registration, and unregistered bulk sends risk filtering or blocking.

For high-volume bulk SMS (thousands/day), many teams find Digital Engagement better suited for conversational/service messaging rather than campaigns. In those cases, a Salesforce-native app like Message Blink can handle:

    • Bulk scheduling and queueing (5k+ per day),
    • Personalization with merge fields,
    • Opt-out management,
    • Full compliance.
