Salesforce enables sharing for the Operating Hours entity with Spring ‘24. Manage your sharing settings, including Org Wide Defaults, Sharing Rules, and Guest Sharing, on Operating Hours similar to other Salesforce objects that support sharing.
What's the impact?
The impact of the changes differs depending on if the users are authenticated or non-authenticated (guest) and whether they access Operating Hours via Salesforce Scheduler. Admins must create sharing rules to ensure that their non-authenticated (guest) users continue to have access to Operating Hours.
Why is Salesforce making this change?
Currently it’s not possible to restrict user access to Operating Hours. All users have access, whether authenticated or non-authenticated.
