Hi,

I created a developer account to test and develop my program, which works with the SOAP API (Enterprise WSDL file). Now the program is finished and I would like to adapt it to the real salesforce account of my company.

The problem is I get this error message when i try to generate the Enterprise WSDL file.

Permissions to create Enterprise WSDL

My Question: What do I have to do, that i can generate it?

Does this action requires a special salesforce licence?

My attempt:

I compared it with my developer account and I found out that the user needs the "Modify all Data" or "Customize Application" permission to generate it. I can change this permissions under Setup>Manage User> Profiles > and now select the profile to edit. But this Profiles category is not avaliable in the salesforce of my company only at my free developer account. But I already tried it with the user from our boss.

So I don't know what i should do now.

I appreciate every help or solution.

    Hi David Sturm,

Here goes the explanation for your problem.

I have understood that you can see all the navigation settings how to modify all data permissions in your developer org, but when you are comparing it with your Salesforce company org you are unable to find the below navigation.

Reason: As in your developer org you are the system admin, so you have all the CRUD permissions access within your control. But when you compare it with your company's org it should be something like production etc.Where you might not be the system admin.so the reason while generating the enterprise WSDL you are getting an error insufficient privileges.Check the permissions of the salesforce company org that whether you have been assigned a system admin profile, and enabled modify all data on record permission.

Thereafter you will be able to generate the Enterprise WSDL.

Kindly mark my solution as the best answer if it helps you.

    Best Regards,
