If I have a lead field that has a character limit of 255, can I only map to fields that have 255 characters or does the field I'm mapping to just need to have a character limit above 255?

When mapping fields, ensure that the target field's character limit is equal to or greater than the source field's limit to prevent data truncation or loss.
