Validation Rule error during trailhead module

So I am in the first module of advanced formulas and the challenge is to write validation rule that would fire if the IsClosed box is checked or the close date is prior to today and to use the AND command. I wrote a few different scripts that I am testing and getting the error when I should during opportunity creating but the system says it tried to create an account with tomorrows date and is unable to do so
