Good afternoon Trailblazers,

How do people handle welcome emails for multiple Experience Clouds? Do you send one welcome email that allows log into all sites or do you send separate welcome emails for each individual site?

I am potentially going to have 3 Experience Clouds that will be active

Site A

Site B

Site C

I have some admin questions around the activation of the sites

1) If send welcome email is ticked in the administration workspace for each site would the external user get 3 login emails? What is the expected behaviour here?

2) If I only want to send one welcome email should I tick the box in one site only? (Site A is the most important site)

3) When the user logs in for the first time and creates password - how do I ensure they are directed to Site A rather than Site B or C?

4) What I think I want is one welcome email sent that directs the user to Site A that allows log in to all sites. Can I do this and have links from Site A to Site B and C?

Any advice on how to manage this deployment from an admin perspective would be much appreciated.

Thanks everyone

    1) Yes they will get 3 welcome emails - that's the expected behavior.

    2) You can tick the box on 1 site and untick it for the rest.

    3) You will have to configure your welcome email and links within it to go to site A, not the other 2 sites.

    4) Yes
