I have consistent senior management requests for an editable Date field (Field A) that has a default (and updating) value of the date another field (Field B) on that object was last changed. So I have to create a regular Date field and a Flow/Workflow to update Field A.
- If I make it a formula field, it can't be edited.
- If I make a default field, that can only be updated upon creation and not upon future changes.
- Meanwhile, I can't figure out if I can (in NPSP) make a default formula that at least pulls in the ISCHANGED date of this other field when it's first changed to a particular status.
Am I missing something? There has to be a better way!
