Hi,

Our finance team needs to see ARR regardless of when something is purchased.  For example:

Initial Sell

   Product A, 3 yr term = Net Total 90,000, ARR 30,000

Amendment Sell

  Product B, 2.5 yr term = Net Total 25,000, ARR 10,000

We have a custom formula field to calculate ARR which is:

IF( NOT(ISBLANK(TEXT(SBQQ__SubscriptionPricing__c))) && SBQQ__SegmentIndex__c<=1, SBQQ__NetTotal__c / SBQQ__ProrateMultiplier__c * 12 / SBQQ__DefaultSubscriptionTerm__c , 0)

This works for all initial sells, but for amendments to can return not whole numbers.   As in the above example the calculation would show something like 10,001.58.  The only time it calculates correct is when the start date of the quote is the same date of the contract.  Contract start date 1/1/2020 and amendment quote start date 5/1/2021.

Our business model is to be able to start a new subscription on any date.  Does anyone have any suggestions how to solve for this.  I have tried several ways, but discounting becomes the issue.

Much Appreciated.

    It probably has to do with the prorate setting in the CPQ install package.

0/9000
