Hello, I am somewhat new to Salesforce and am implementing NPSP and V4S. I am looking at Give Lively for donations and how the App would integrate with Quick Books Online. I like the built in features for websites, texts, and peer-to-peer (although not perfect). Does anyone have experience with this? We haven't yet integrated fundraising. We have Patreon Membership donations, we can connect directly to them for now though. I feel that Give Lively would create the Opportunity and then QBO would bring the Opportunity or Donation to Quick Books. Does anyone have any experience using these 2 applications? Is there a better idea for a FREE donation app or reasons to simply integrate directly using PayPal or other Payment Processors? Thank you #Give Lively 😊
We use Give Lively but don't have finance connected to Salesforce. Finance looks at the Stripe account to make their entries. We like the website integration and the text to donate option. The struggle right now with peer-to-peer is that we do a lot of clean up in Salesforce since soft-credits aren't imported. We were doing a small amount of peer-to-peer so it wasn't horrible for us but if this is something you do a lot you may want to look into the process and how to better automate it.
