I love that you all added a Lead Field option to Petitions. If said Lead Field is just a placeholder and very transactional - The use case we have is "I Represent my Organization's Signature" vs Personal Signature. This contact would not always represent their organization's signature so ideally we'd want to capture this on the campaign member for reporting purposes.
1. Use process builder when a lead is created/converted to updated the related campaign - questionable as leads and campaigns act weird
2. Use process builder to just add a task - same as 1
3. Use process builder on a contact field to update last campaign - same as 1
4. Write custom apex
5. Give up now - Just figure out how to report the converted leads along with the campaign outside of Salesforce entirely
