In Lightning, I have a quick action on Contact that creates an Opportunity record. I also have on the Contact record:
* A custom field connected to NPSP customizable rollups that counts certain Opps.
* A few different rich text components that tell the user different messages based on how many of these Opps the Contact has, using a component visibility filter.
After I use the quick action to create the Opp, although the Opp itself shows up in the related list component, my fields on the Contact, and the right text component do not refresh.
Hunting around, it looks like this is a known "gap" in Lightning functionality. Anyone know if that is correct, and what the best workaround might be for now?
Not fatal, but a bit confusing to users.
