User define rollup limits?

Is there any limit on the total number of user defined rollups? Or are there any practical limitations, like running into governor limits when you get over a certain number?

    Rollup Helper or writing custom Apex triggers are my go to resources when you run out of rollup summary fields. However, as Brad mentions, you can submit a case to Salesforce and ask for a limit increase past the 10. You would just need to let them know which objects and how many more you need plus a reason for the increase.
