    • Hello Trailblazers, My name is Timothy Blanchett.  I have been a long time user of salesforce and for the last year have had a exciting oppertunity to work with Elavon as their first totally blind employee.  As you can guess there were and continue to be accessability challenges over all however the one system we use that has not had any accessability issues is Service Cloud.  I work with a great group of people and all are very supportive and my trainer was a Salesforce Admin.  After talking to him at length I started researching oppertunities to become certified.  I did work with another great person that is also now a blind Salesforce Developer in the past and had been thinking of certification for a few years but just did not know if it was for me. A few months ago I stumbled on BIT (blind Institute of Tech) and found they had a fully accessable program to become certified as an admin. Well that got my juices flowing and I applied. I am now almost finished with the prep work and look forward to taking certification very soon.  Salesforce has not only opened doors for me to advance my goals it is allowing me to springboard in to a very exciting path with my current company going forward.  Thanks for reading my storey and I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible in the future.
