As I was trying to deploy a custom object, I was only able to update the field, but not the data in the field.
Also if I want to see the tab to reflect this change, that's impossible.
Any idea? Thanks in advance.

No, the sandbox is meant to be a demo environment. When I test in it all of the data I create is dummy data. Even if I've taken production records and loaded them in to get started. Any additional data is solely for testing purposes and not intended to go back to production.
