Hi Salesforce Ohana

 

I have a question for you, one of my customers works purely in the B2C space so are only using person accounts within salesforce rather than accounts and contacts, so when logging a call, or setting a task, they are using the related to and name fields but don't want to see contacts listed on the name field, they only want to see leads.

 

Is there a way to do this? Or at least default to leads?

Is it possible to set the name field on activity to default to lead rather than contact?

    Hi Tracy,

     

    The easiest way will be to remove Contact object access from the profiles who are using this. But if they need access to Contact object, then I am afraid there is no standard way to remove the dropdown.
