I am trying to give read access to few custom fields for Chatter only Profile ,when I try to save the changes I am getting an error message "You may not turn off permission Enable Chatter for this License Type" , Can anyone help me how to resolve this
You posted about the Chatter Only Profile -- that Profile is only available to be assigned to Chatter Only users -- and for that license type, you can't disable Chatter, since it is the whole point of the license.
