Disabling SAML SSO from Salesforce?

I have been using an SAML 2.0 SSO third party for a while now, but we are trying to completely disable it now and go back to just standard username/password. I wanted to be able to disable it for our users and get them over to username/password logins, and then start deleting the SSO settings. However, there is no setting under the User or the Profile that allows me to disable SSO and use standard login. When you try to log in to Salesforce's website directly, you also get redirected to the SSO login page. I would hate to remove the SAML SSO settings under "Single Sign-On Settings" in Setup and then nobody can log in because all of the authentication is gone

    Locking everyone out!  That would indeed be a headache!

     

    In SETUP search for "My Domain".

     

    I there, you'll see the "Authentication Service" options that have been enabled for your users.  I suspect that your SSO service is selected, but "Login Form" has been deselected.  Edit this section ("Authentication Configuration") and turn "Login Form" back on.  At the same time... if you wish... you can turn off you SSO Service here as well.

     

    Once you've turned on "Login Form", your users should now get the option to use Username and Password to authenticate when logging in.
