I need to create a custom report for a custom object called Financials

Question

I have a custom object called Financials that is related to Accounts and Accounts are related to Opportunities.  I need to build a report that show all the Opportunities linked to Accounts that are missing Financials.  I can't seem to connect all objects, I have built a custom report that shows all the financials for accounts but not opportunities. I can create object relationships where Accounts is (A) and Financials are the (B) object. and vice versa where Financials are (A) and Accounts are (B) object but I can't find a way to include opportunities.
