A view to see reports and dashboards

I'm wondering if there is a way to create a personalized view in SalesForce.  For example, if a manager wants to sign in an see a view customized to him featuring specific dashboards and reports.  I understand you can simply follow dashboards and reports and go to 'reports i follow' and same for dashboards, but I was wondering if there was a way to combine the two into one view.  Thanks.

    Yes, you can go to the reports and select tpe as "summary" and then add chart for that report.

     

    Then you can see both report and dashboard in a single view.
