I have two lookup (Read only in pagelayout) fields on two different objects (Case, Opportunity Product), I am updating the field using a trigger on the case object, the field on the Opportunity Product stays readonly but the field on the case is still editable, can anyone tell me the solution to keep it read only.

They are custom fields, it already read only in the FLS. Thank you.
