Hi, We've recently acquired another company and we're starting to think about how we merge out two Salesforce databases into one. Specifically I'm looking at how we can export the many email templates from one database into the other. I see there a post on how to export your email templates ( ) but I don't see a corresponding post on how to import templates. If there is one, can someone please point me towards a guide on importing email templates? Or, does anyone know if there's an easier way to migrate emails from one base into another? Thanks! Nick

Hi Nick, There is no import for email templates. You simply paste the HTML code for your custom HTML email in the box provided in the email template.

Yes and no, if you use something like the dataloader you can export the EmailTemplate object. The reason that I say no is that if you are using HTML templates, you won't be able to pull all of the HTML values... Its basically just a snapshot of the template

Is it possible to import Email Templates?
