How often does marketing cloud update the opt-out field in Salesforce ?

When someone unsubscribes from Marketing Cloud I believe this data is pushed back to the Person Account Opt-out field in Salesforce (so I have been told by support). Does anyone know how often this is synced ? And when is it done ?
