Good morning all.  We have been in HealthCloud since July of 2016.  At the time, individual accounts were recommended by SF.  That is not the same today.  We are in the process of converting from individual to person accounts.  I have followed the process outlined in the guidelines.  I continue to struggle converting leads to patients.

  • Turn on Person accounts
  • Ask SF to turn on person accounts
  • After person accounts are turned on, then update metadata by adding to individual record mapper
  • Add required fields to the Person Account page layout
  • Assign PersonAccount to profiles
  • Deactivate process builder for converting leads to INDIVIDUALS

I am not able to convert patients.  I get a message which asks me to contact my SF admin.  No other description.  Debug logs stated there are missing recordtypes but does not list it.

I have tried adding the process builder and call the Apex "Create Person Account", placed the PersonAccount record type ID, map name, email, date of birth from lead fields as field references.  I then get Flow errors "Your account record type is missing, a duplicate, or invalid. Ask your admin to check the individual record type configurations in Setup."

Has anyone else converted from Individual to Person accounts successfully that might want to share some of their learnings?

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
