Any best practices / guidance on how to store and manage Taxonomies and Specialty Crosswalks in Salesforce Health Cloud for Provider Relationship Management?

Just in case anyone stumbles upon this thread, the documentation in Trailhead related to the Specialty Taxonomy Crosswalk is an error (documentation bug). There were plans to introduce such an object or MDT, but it does not exist and may never exist. SO, if you need something like this, you will need to create it yourself.
