we are currently setting up our Sales Cloud environment and came upon some questions/limitations regarding (Default) Account Teams and I hope some of you can provide me some advice.

We would like our Sales users to be part of account teams, that are automatically assigned their team as soon as one of the users creates a new account. Which sounds like a use case for default account teams. But initially and at later stages when users change, we would like to import the account teams/changes instead of having the user set up their default account team themselves.

But since the default account team is connected to the user setting and hence metadata that we can not import or change via import, we are not able to do this.

There would be a possibility to import account teams directly to the accounts, but then new accounts would not have account teams assigned automatically and when some changes are made to account teams the whole account team assignment import would have to be changed.

It sounds fairly unlikely to me, that their is no possibility to overcome and handle this issue.

Has one of you came upon a similar issue or can provide me some impulse of how to handle this?
