Hello Health Cloud!  We have an AppExchange app - Gimbal Barcode - that can be used to scan the barcode of a medical device, in order to insert or update a record in Salesforce.  I'd like to connect with prospective users (i.e. customers) of this functionality.  Sample use case: a field representative is delivering a device to a patient or clinic, and they want to scan the barcode in order to record the details of which device was delivered to which recipient (serial number, lot number, etc).  If you're interested in this type of functionality, let's connect!
