Is it just me, or is it impossible to edit the column layout for the lower half of the Forecast screen, on Custom Forecast Types? I get a lot of selection and flexibility when I first set up the forecast type, but once set, there is no going back except to delete the type (which can only be deleted by deleting the Opportunity Split) and then set it all back up again? If I am missing something, and others can do these edits (edit columns and delete a forecast type without deleting the split) without going back to the beginning, I would love to see a GoTo meeting on how to do it.
Also, the AMOUNT field is default sorted in declining value for the normal forecast types. When I create a custom forecast type, if I include AMOUNT as one of the columns, then it is default sort descending, but if I don't include it, the sort is defaulted to ascending on the Opportunity Name. I was expecting it to default to descending on the custom field for the custom forecast type because that is just a darned good way to set up the data. Again, am I missing a switch somewhere?
Thx.

Mike, per our discussion it is me where it is not working properly to allow for editing the column layout. Thank you for the quick chat on this. I have submitted an H&T case #11472800 for this.
And thank you for listening about forcing the column sort order. Collaborative works so well for us already. It is fun to be working at the boundaries and making suggestions for further improvements.
