If a user has already been uploaded and added to Spiff, can an admin permanently remove them from the system?

I’d like to know if there is a way to fully delete a user rather than just deactivate or disable their access.

    Hi @Swati Malkar

Yes, Salesforce Spiff provides an Archive User option, but it is different from permanently deleting a user.

If a user has already been uploaded and added to Spiff, you can archive them by following these steps:

    1. Go to Admin → Users in Salesforce Spiff.
    2. Open the user’s profile.
    3. Click Edit.
    4. Deselect Make this user visible.
    5. Confirm Archive User and save.

    After archiving:

    • The user will no longer appear as an active user in the regular Users page.
    • Data syncing is automatically disabled.
    • Existing statements and historical records are retained.
    • The user cannot be assigned to new teams or plans.

If the user is synced from Salesforce or another external source, you should also review the source system and syncing settings.

Important: Archiving hides the user from active management, but it does not permanently delete their historical data. For complete permanent deletion, check your organization's Spiff data-retention policies and available Salesforce support options.

Reference: Archive and Unarchive User Accounts

    Hope this helps! 😊

Hello.

We have turned on Account Plans in our Sandbox environment. For the Relationship Map we would like to somehow show a parallel org chart. For example. The CEO of Google and the CEO of our company Syska Hennessy Group. Is this possible?

It seems that the native Salesforce Account plans is limited regarding customization.

Please let me know if further information is needed.

Is there another account plans tool that is recommended that offers more flexibility to make customizations?

Thank you,

Nancy

@Nancy MagalhaesOne limitation I’d consider is the underlying data model: the native Relationship Map is primarily account/contact relationship-focused, so a true side-by-side “customer org + our internal org” hierarchy is difficult to maintain dynamically.

If this is a recurring sales use case, I’d model the internal stakeholders and customer contacts as related records with an explicit relationship type (Decision Maker, Executive Sponsor, Account Owner, etc.), then surface those relationships through a custom LWC. That would keep the visualization data-driven instead of relying on manually added cards, while still keeping everything inside Salesforce.

    Hey Bhagyavan,

This is an internal server error on Salesforce's own infrastructure (the message itself confirms "

    salesforce.com

support team has been notified"), not something wrong with your account setup or browser.

Since this happened right after login on a specific home page, try:

    - Wait a few minutes and refresh, transient internal errors often clear on retry

    - Try navigating directly to Setup or a different tab (like an object list view) instead of the Home page, if that works, the issue may be specific to a component on your Home page (like a broken dashboard or custom Lightning component)

    - Clear browser cache or try incognito, rules out a stale cached page state

    - If it persists across all pages/browsers, log a case with Salesforce Support and include the Error ID: 605878076-277435 (-652286695), that ID lets their support team pull the exact server-side log for your issue

Since the org is on a Developer Edition-style domain (

    speed-speed-1379.lightning.force.com

), if this is a Trailhead Playground, spinning up a fresh one may be faster than waiting on a support case.

Looking for a Remote Salesforce Internship Opportunity (Paid or Unpaid)

Hi Trailblazers! 👋

I'm Peer Abbas Ali Shah, a Computer Science (AI) graduate from Pakistan with 1 year of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Admin & Developer Intern at Cyber Tech Infinity. I've worked across Object Manager, Flow Builder, Validation Rules, Reports & Dashboards, Profiles/Roles/Permission Sets, and have practical exposure to Apex, LWC, and SOQL. I'm also actively progressing through Trailhead's Admin and Developer pathways while preparing for my Salesforce Certified Administrator exam.

I'm looking to connect with startups, nonprofits, consulting partners, or growing teams who could use an extra pair of hands on their Salesforce org — whether that's configuration, automation, data cleanup, or reporting. I bring reliability, a fast learning curve, and genuine enthusiasm for the platform.

If you know of any openings, referrals, or teams looking for motivated Salesforce talent, I'd really appreciate a connection. Happy to share my resume directly too!

After much research, many hours and dead ends, I am stumped on how to apply multiple states into one territory.  I have the territory model set up and just need to apply the assignment rules to set multiple states into a territory.

Example: I have Eastern US and Western US. They each will have 25 states. In Western US, I need to add CA, OR, WA, AZ, UT, CO, ID, etc.  If I add one state (WA), it returns accounts. But when I make a new assignment rule to add another state (OR)  to that territory (one recommendation I read), it returns no accounts. What are the recommendations here? Do I have to create a child territory for each state?  I feel like I am missing something.  Or is it really this difficult?

    @Jacob Vlop

Thank you!  I appreciate you taking the time to respond. This is very helpful. I tried the OR condition route and struck out because it limits you to 10 rows and I need 25.  So, I couldn't get to the filter logic step.

The formula field makes great sense. I will try that one.

Hi! I am Jack, an Account Executive working in precious metals sales!

Recently I just founded closenote

https://www.closenote.ai

A startup focusing on Salesforce admin automation for sales reps. I take so many notes at my current job, and I was spending too much time after every call, or at the end of my day logging notes manually. I felt that note taking should be automated, so I built this as a tool for myself, but also realized that many other people in sales had the same problems as me.

I have a team at GridMate testing it out currently, and have a whole roadmap planned for the future as this gets into the hands of more people. Let me know what you think!
