We know we can remove the Einstein Activity Capture Included permission set from that user, but we would like a way for the user to be able to stop the sync flow themselves.  #Einstein Activity

Did you manage to try out my flow powered suggestion to provide users the ability to opt out of EAC?

Einstein Activity Capture is enabled, the user has the necessary permission set, and the user has agreed to the EAC terms.  Only about 5% of the user's events created flow to Outlook.  What could be causing this please?

Hi guys,

I've added Einstein Activity Capture and have set the shared contents of activities to "all" on the org level. But I want to be able to control certain users to be able to post meetings/email and ensure their contents are not visible to other users.

See request:

we wouldn’t want to capture certain emails between senior staff who some are on external email addresses.

However we will need to share at some point once we decide on that.

Just thinking about this; can you actually only turn on this function for User 1, User 2 and User 3?

We would not want to share emails from User 4 and User 5.

Any help would be appreciated!

Lightning Sync with Outlook

Good Morning, I recently (past few days) am having issues with our calendar events from Salesforce not hitting the outlook calendar.

I have confirmed nothing has changed on our Microsoft Exchange side.

I have tested with multiple users including myself.

I do not have Einstein Activity turned on but I hadn't before this with no issue.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the winter release.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Happy Friday!

Kim

Hello group,

I have a question and will be happy to see your opinion on it.

We are capturing emails through Einstein and the business wants to track activity metrics for emails (synced by Einstein), manually logged calls and manually created tasks.

We have enabled 1 Inbox license to unlock Einstein Activity metrics fields.

Do you know if 1 license is enough to unlock the functionality for all users in the org?

Thank you!

Nikolay

Thank you for the webinar

We want to make the switch to einstein activity capture but cannot yet because we need to be able to  - add custom fields to  Event objects

- Be able to query Events in apex

However we cannot do this with events that are created by the Einstein Activity capture

Is this something that is planned in the future?

Is Einstein activity capture free or does it need additional licenses? is there any limitations in terms of users that can be enabled?

Hi Wim, I can't confirm as I have no insight into pricing or licensing as part of my role. The help article I referenced above gives the differences between the EAC Standard, aka freemium version and the paid version. There's also another article which outlines the path from Lightning Sync to EAC that might be useful to you - https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000353407&type=1&mode=1
