Hi all, I just failed my Salesforce Admin Certification for the second time and now I have to wait until the new Spring release quiz after April 23, 2026. I’m wondering if anyone has been in this situation and how did you prepare to succeed on your third attempt…especially with my next attempt coming with a brand new releases of questions. Definitely down and feeling like I will never pass this cert, any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I was trying to memorize the order of rules execution while studying for the App Builder certificate exam and having trouble getting them into my head.

ChatGPT came up with this mnemonic device:

- Validation rules (Very)

- Assignment rules (Active)

- Auto-response rules (Animals)

- Workflow rules (Will)

- Escalation rules (Eat)

- Entitlement rules (Every)

- Post-commit logic (emails and asynchronous requests) (Plant)

Very Active Animals Will Eat Every Plant.

Hopefully someone will find this useful!

**Immediate Action Required: Verify Your Domains for Email Security**

Here are some actually helpful tips to make sure you're covered!

You'll need:

  • Salesforce Admin access
  • Access to your domain registrar (the site where your email domain name is registered, like GoDaddy or Cloudflare)
  1. Follow Salesforce's instructions for creating a DKIM Key
    1. This video is super duper helpful for a walkthrough
    2. Still, around step 9, things get a little confusing. Let me help you out there.
  2. Log in to your domain registrar (like GoDaddy or Cloudflare), select your email domain, and look for a ā€œDNSā€ or ā€œDNS Recordsā€ section. Add a new record.
  3. There are three components to creating this new DNS Record:
    1. Type - choose CNAME
    2. Name - refer back to the DKIM Key you created in Salesforce. Next to CNAME Record copy everything BEFORE ā€œ.[yourdomain].comā€. So if my CNAME Record says ā€œkey1._domainkey.mydomain.comā€ , I’m copying ā€œkey1._domainkeyā€ only. Paste this in the Name section of the new DNS Record you’re creating.
    3. Value, or Content, or Target - refer again back to the DKIM Key you created in Salesforce. Next to CNAME Record copy everything AFTER ā€œIN CNAME ā€œ. So if my CNAME Record says ā€œIN CNAME mydomain.abc01de.salesforce.comā€, I’m copying ā€œmydomain.abcd01de.salesforce.comā€. Paste this in the Value/Content/Target section of the DNS Record you’re creating. Save
    4. Add a 2nd DNS Record, and repeat the above steps with the values next to Alternate CNAME Record. Save.
    5. Once you’re done, be sure to go back to your DKIM Key and select ā€œActivateā€
    6. You can go to Setup > Test Deliverability to test that emails are being sent and received as expected

**Boom. You did it. Way to go. Have a snack.**

I have 70+ records that I need to add manual sharing details to, meaning I have to find each record, find the user, and add their permission level.  Is there no way in bulk to do this using SF Developer, for example?  This method seems really antiquated.

Every object has a companion Share object where manual shares are stored. The Object API names will be

for a standard object StandardObject: StandardObjectShare

    for a custom object CustomOjbject__c: CustomObject__Share

There's more on these and other associated objects here:

    StandardObjectNameShare

When you manually share a record, it creates a record on the associated Share object, and if you're careful about it, you can create these records in bulk, with a flow, apex or using  the blunt force method creating the records in a CSV file and uploading them with Dataloader, and

possibly Data Import Wizard (I don't know of any reason you couldn't use it, but I've never tried it so I can't say it'll work). Workbench would probably also work, and maybe Salesforce Inspector but I haven't tried those either, so take that for what it's worth.
