Agents have FLS for most fields on opportunity and we have something called SA1 records. Those are the records owned by 'System Admin 1' user. Agents can access those records from a related list. But we wanna restrict them to search for Opportunities with just email or phone. They should not be able to find say opportunities in a particular state or address from global search.

Hi @ATU PANDU Salesforce Global Search doesn't support restricting searches to only Email and Phone fields for specific users.

    A few options to consider:

    1. FLS: Remove access to State and Address fields if agents don't need them.
    2. Search Manager: Check whether unwanted fields can be excluded from search indexing.
    3. Search Layouts: These control which fields appear in results, not which fields can be searched.
    4. Custom LWC with Apex: Build a search component that allows agents to search Opportunities using only Email or Phone.

Since agents still need access to SA1 records, a custom LWC would be a good option.

Important: Custom search alone won't restrict standard Global Search. You'll also need to review field permissions and other available search paths.

    Hope this helps!

I would like to see the Schedule tab added to Tableau Cloud similar to what is in Server. I would also like to be able to name our schedules as we can in server.

Hi, You may create an idea for this on the Salesforce Idea Exchange:

If this post resolves the question, would you be so kind to "Accept this Answer"?. This will help other users find the same answer/resolution and help community keep track of answered questions. Thank you.

Current setup:

A Web-to-Lead form is used on an Experience Cloud public page.

An active Lead Assignment Rule is configured.

When a Lead is created internally in Salesforce, the assignment rule works correctly and assigns the Lead to the expected user or queue.

However, when a Lead is submitted through the Experience Cloud public page, the Lead is assigned to the configured Guest User Default Record Owner instead of the owner defined by the Lead Assignment Rule.

My requirement is for Leads created through the Experience Cloud public page to follow the active Lead Assignment Rule while still maintaining the required guest user ownership/security configuration.

What is the recommended approach for this scenario?

    Hi Manikandan,

Please check the rule criteria correctly match the Lead submitted from the Experience Cloud form.

If no rule matches, Salesforce falls back to the default owner.

If the Experience Cloud submission still always uses the Guest Default Owner, use a Flow/Apex-based Lead creation approach and explicitly invoke the  Assignment of the owner after creating the Lead. This gives you more control while retaining the guest-user security configuration.

Hi all, I just failed my Salesforce Admin Certification for the second time and now I have to wait until the new Spring release quiz after April 23, 2026. I’m wondering if anyone has been in this situation and how did you prepare to succeed on your third attempt…especially with my next attempt coming with a brand new releases of questions. Definitely down and feeling like I will never pass this cert, any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I’m looking to become an administrator and am brand new to Salesforce. I’ve started the ‘Admin Beginner’ trail…but pretty sure there’s much more than that. Hoping someone could tell me what I need to do (trails, etc) and in what order, from beginning to end, so that by the end of it, I know everything I need to know to start a career as an administrator. Thank you in advance to whomever can help outline this for me!

Hey guys !

I'm planning to start studying for the exam. I'd love to start this path together with someone!

I would like us to support, motivate each other to actively study and go through some complicated topics together.

I'm going to prepare the plan along with dates and topics. We can also work on it together and determine what our goals and deadlines are.

Something about me. 😃

I live in the Netherlands. I have been working with Salesforce for 5 years ( 3 as an end user,2 as a Salesforce analyst and a year ago I started my journey as an Admon). Though I haven't started learning for Admin certification yet! It is a high to to get it !

I highly invite determined and positive people to join the challenge.

Do you want to join me? Let me know.

Let's get this party started ! 🎉

    Hi @ABDOULAYE KONATE,

Congratulations on earning your Salesforce Certification! To secure a Salesforce Administrator job, update your LinkedIn profile, focus on quality job applications, and leverage resources like job posting sites and Salesforce Trailblazer Community Groups. Prepare for interviews by reviewing job descriptions, researching companies, and practicing common interview questions. During the job search, be persistent and reject offers that don't align with your values, ensuring a good fit with the company's culture and your personal satisfaction. After accepting an offer, continue learning and consider certifications that complement your role and future career in the Salesforce ecosystem. Remember, finding the right job is about more than just skills; it's about aligning with a company's values and enjoying your day-to-day work.

    Please go through these resource:

Help please. I took my salesforce administrator examination last week and did not pass it. I was so devastated. I was so confident that I have practised enough for the exam. I did study with focus on force and completed my administration trial in trialhead. All the questions were familiar to me except for some. I am again retaking it on end of this month. But literally scared to retake. So any advice to prep for the exam or anything to boost my confidence to take the exam would really help me.

Thank you !!
