I have created data mapper that fetches all funding opp records and display in flexcard. This flexcard is placed on public page. But I see error Data mapper is not active .Please activate and try again.   I have given read access to all Omni objects and also created sharing rule for funding opp.

    Hi, In my case I deactivated and activated the mapper and cleared the browser cache, resulted in the fix.

I have an order with seleceted price list.

I have cpqBrowsePhaseContainer flex card on my order record page.

  • If my order has no shipping address (all shipping information fields are empty)
    • When navigating to "Catalog" tab (the cpqBrowsePhaseContainer card), I can see the price list selected
  • If my order has shipping address (any field of the shipping information has value)
    • When navigating to "Catalog" tab (the cpqBrowsePhaseContainer card), PriceList combobox has no selected value

After debugging, I found that:

  • The cpqBrowsePhaseContainer has a parameter called "pricelistId"
  • This parameter is set via a pubsub event
    • channel: cpq_{recordId}
    • event name: cpq_summarycart_details
  • When there's no shipping addres, the message is {pricelistId: someid}
  • When there's a shipping adderss, the message is {pricelistId: null}
    • because of this null value, the combobox is not set

  I have checked this places:

  • Vlocity Product Console, Rule section. Can't find anything
  • Vlocity CMT admin: I don't know which configuration is related

Please help me!

Thank for reading

    The fix for this is setting "RollbackIPChanges" (in "Omni Interaction Configuration") to "true"

    This solution is from Salesforce support

Hello,

I have been trying to find an OmniScript that works for Client-Side document generation at our company. I watched some videos on this and it looked like the best way to do this was to import the "docGenerationSampleLwc" JSON application from Static Resources in Setup. However, I was unable to find this for our organization, so I downloaded a link that contained the same JSON and imported this into an Omniscript. When I went to "Activate" this OmniScript, I got the following error: "ERROR: The OmniScript could not be fetched: ScriptNotFound1". What does this error code mean? How can I resolve this error code? Is there a better way to find this OmniScript for document generation that should have been in our Static Resources?

When trying to activate an Omniscript in Salesforce Omnistudio I get an error?

Hi all,

I am using the OmniStudio Document Template Designer to update a current packing slip. I replaced a line in the actual text of the document, so nothing essential to the functionality. I made a new version of it and then replaced the file with my edited version. When I try to do that, it throws this error:

Exception (400): List has no rows for assignment to SObject when saving OmniStudio Document Template

I've been trying to troubleshoot this for a bit and cannot seem to figure out the problem. Would anyone know how I can troubleshoot more or potentially fix this?

Thank you!

    Yes, I found out that I did not have the permissions that I needed. I had salesforce admin, but you also need have an omniscript license and a few other things.

Hi,

I am working on calculation Matrix. I have requirement to give access to calculation matrix to specific set of user for edit and create Calculation Matrix versions.

I am able to give access to Calculation matrix other that System administrator. But I am unable disable calculation matrix version by clicking on Enabled button.

I have validated field level access and Enabled filed have edit access to profile and permissionset which I am using.

Also I checked if any custom validation created on trigger or rule. But I am unable to find where its restricted.

I got one system label "MatrixVersionDisableError". But not able to find from where this label is triggred to show message.

Please let me know if any one has any idea about this error and where can I get this logic?

    Yes, we resolved it. there is custom setting--> General Setting--> CalculationMatrixAdminProfiles  where profile level access given to update matrix enable flag

When a flex card in a record lightning page returns a blank value it still "consumes" some real estate on the page, since the lightning page "displays nothing" (blank flex card) BUT then some space before the next component. The result is that this empty space "accumulates" on the page.

These flex cards are using external queries on the fly, so there is no data saved to the database, so there is no way to add Conditional Visibility to the flex card component. Is there way for the page to recognize it is receiving an empty flex card and hide it completely>

    You can use conditional visiblity of the dynamic form based on any record field flag, otherwise I don't think other option will available.

Hi everyone.

I'm having an issue checking out carts using the 'checkout' method on CpqAppHandler on  Vlocity  CMT version 900.644 .

To be clear, the error happens in any king of the CpqAppHandler 'checkout' method execution (Omniscripts, Integration Procedures, etc) , but to be able to provide example I'll share the execution output of this Anonymous execution:

Map<String, Object> params = new Map<String,Object>();params.put('cartId', '801Ha00000vHCVOIA4');params.put('ContextId', '801Ha00000vHCVOIA4');Map<String,Object> output = new Map<String,Object>();Map<String,Object> options =  new Map<String,Object>();Map<String, Object> cpqConfigurationSettings = new Map<String,Object>(); cpqConfigurationSettings.put('EnableCoreLogs', true);params.put('cpqConfigurationSettings', cpqConfigurationSettings);vlocity_cmt.CpqAppHandler handler = new vlocity_cmt.CpqAppHandler();handler.invokeMethod('checkout', params, output, options);System.debug(JSON.serialize(params));System.debug(JSON.serialize(output));System.debug(JSON.serialize(options));

The execution puts this content on `output`:

{  "messages": [    {      "message": "Illegal assignment from String to Date",      "messageId": "INVOKE-500",      "code": "INVOKE-500",      "severity": "ERROR"    }  ],  "totalSize": 0}

This error is preceded by this SOQL Execution, but I could not find anything related to it.

I could not find any assignment from String to Date on the Field Mapper for OrderItem to Asset definition. Or anywhere else.

I would like some guidance on how can I solve this issue. If you need more information about something related to the environment in use, let me know.

Thank you for your attention and time.

Hi everyone,

I'm doing poc with an OmniScript that invokes a Data Mapper Load. The Data Mapper receives the necessary input and creates:

  • Account
  • Contact
  • User

All three records are being created through a single Data Mapper Load execution.

Based on my understanding of Salesforce Mixed DML rules, I expected a Mixed DML Operation error because:

  • Account and Contact are non-setup objects.
  • User is a setup object.

However, no error is being thrown, and all three records are created successfully.

This raised a few questions for me:

  1. How does Data Mapper Load handle DML operations internally in this scenario?
  2. Does OmniStudio/Data Mapper execute setup and non-setup object operations in separate transactions behind the scenes?
  3. Is there any special processing or orchestration that prevents Mixed DML errors when using Data Mapper Load?

I'd appreciate any insights into this behavior.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

    OmniStudio's Data Mapper Load does not execute all DML in a single Apex transaction the way a standard Apex class would. Internally, it uses a chunked/asynchronous execution model

     that separates setup and non-setup object operations into different transaction contexts.

    Specifically:

    • Non-setup objects (Account, Contact) are processed in one transaction context
    • Setup objects (User) are queued and processed in a separate transaction.

    This is why Salesforce's Mixed DML governor limit isn't triggered — the platform never sees both in the same transaction.
