#Package0 discussing

I was creating a unManaged package for an App but I getting the error : Cannot package article types.

I want to take the backup of complete app. So is there any other workaround ? Please let me know.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone already had a similar issue. I created a template from a customized app and try to create a fresh app based on this template. I'm getting the following error after the Dashboards are created successfully. Not sure if I hit additional name space restrictions/ or which rule is not returning correct? (Template and original app are both in the same environment at this point)

" While processing Expression error occurred [Error processing expression "\${App.Datasets.${App.Datasets[Rules.CurrentNode].Name}.FullyQualifiedName}". Target unreachable, base expression [Rules] resolved to null] "

Hi All,

I'm trying to install the newer version of the FSC package from the below link. But I'm getting the attached error in an email with the package installation unsuccessful.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks.

Company bought, new company has salesforce too, we uploaded our custom obj's, etc from refreshed sb to a package and during install to under new instance (sb), I'm getting the original error. My side has sharing rules, and theirs does not seem to. so i'm torn over breaking my sharing rules or do i have to recreate them first in order to accept this package?

Hi - I am battling to get a clear cut answer on what the approach is to build a private package (not 2GP unlocked) that is dependent on NPSP.   I understand that CCI handles all the dependencies etc but how does this actually work once a package is created?  Does the NPSP metadata actually "live" as part my package or is it purely for packaging purposes and when installing in a client using the standard package install screen, then do they need to have NPSP already installed?  Hope this makes sense...

Ok thanks its making sense now. I think the part I was not understanding was that NPSP is installed into the packaging org.

@Unlocked Packages As an ISV, we already have a Managed package (Built on 1 GP) and have few subscribers for the same. But now we would like to build an extension using 2 GP, and this extension package should hold true for managed package dependencies. Since the base package is built on 1 GP, Can extension be built using 2 GP? Is that allowed? If yes, are there any known considerations or lmitations that one should be aware before building the extension?

Appreciate any help or this group is welcome to share any prespectives or comments.

Thanks.

I'm trying to create an unmanaged package for deploying into the org. When adding an App bunch of additional components are added to the package. I want to remove them but there is no possibility. How can I delete components from my package that were added automatically (without raising case to SF)?

Hi everyone

I couldnt complete a step in Securty Specialist Superbadge. I have installed the package requirred as preparation but tests of this package did not pass. The error in the Trailhead says also so:

"The unit tests in the managed package have not passed successfully"

I would be be very happy if someone help me because I am struggling in this step too much and I have an exam in 10 days

Thanks
