Accounting Subledger 1.36 began pushing to sandboxes on Wednesday, August 18. The push to production is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 24.

We have also released a fully updated version of our Accounting Subledger documentation, including examples of configuration options.

Besides the minor enhancements and fixes noted, we’re thrilled to announce that this sandbox release coincides with the release of a new product, Accounting Subledger for Industries!

Introducing Accounting Subledger for Industries

• The features that you’ve come to know and rely on in Accounting Subledger are now available more broadly. Learn about your options now that you can choose between two products—one new and one existing. Accounting Subledger for Industries is newly available to orgs that use Sales or Service Cloud; the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) is not required. Accounting Subledger, the original product, remains available to orgs who prefer to use Subledger with NPSP for its fundraising-focused data model.
• Both products are paid and available in a Starter Edition and a Growth Edition. Check with your Salesforce Account Executive for pricing and details about which feature set best suits your accounting framework.
• Learn more about the data model options and your configuration options in the Accounting Subledger documentation, which has been updated significantly.
• With this release, Accounting Subledger (for NPSP) is updated to version 1.36. Accounting Subledger for Industries makes its debut as version 1.3.0.2.
• You will find this new version on our installer page beginning on Tuesday, August 24

Enhancements and Fixes

• When errors occur during the Accounting Scheduled Job, the completed job now reports the number of errors in the Apex job queue.
• We fixed an issue that prevented Ledger Entries from being created when using the four-object model with custom objects in Accounting Sets.
