I took the MCPA exam back in June 2020 and didn't pass. I have not been able to take the free exam because of Covid-19. I now have the chance to retake however when I put the coupon code for a retake it didn't work.

Can it be customer hosted runtime plane in each datacenter and MuleSoft hosted Anypoint control plane OR Anypoint platform PCE?

You can certainly host mule runtimes in your own datacenters, register them in Runtime Manager, and use the MuleSoft hosted control plane to deploy and manage your MuleSoft APIs. Doing so requires your IT to manage the hardware and software, in addition to the mule runtime and Mule APIs.
Using PCE increases IT effort as it adds the necessity to manage the control plane as well.
Hosting applications in a private cloud removes the need to host the physical machines, but still requires maintaining the mule servers and APIs.
Finally, hosting MuleSoft APIs in CloudHub reduces the need to manage the Mule runtime and focuses more on the mule APIs.

I have registered for the self paced free trainings on mule but after logging into the course page, unable to get the study materials/contents.
Can anyone please share /guide me through the actual link from where free learning materials can be collected for Architectural Learning path.

I am in China, Today I took the MCPA Exam. And at the beginning, I told the proctor that I needed keep a VPN app to get better network, and the proctor accepted it and let me keep it. And after I took half of the exam, a new proctor was exchanged to my exam session, and closed my MCPA Exam directly, and just said it is because my computer has VPN security.
It was really so saddening, I spent a lot of time and money preparing for this exam, and I really wish I could have passed it at this time.
For now, My MCPA exam’s status is “Exam attempt is voided by proctor” and “Result Pending”, I don’t know what’s going on. I really didn’t know that the VPN(v2ray) caused this serious issue. Because in China, if I don’t use a VPN, I am almost unable to access mulesoft.com, My colleagues suggest that I use a VPN to get better network just like they did in the past, and they all do not cause this serious issue.
Here are attachments to prove that what I said is correct.
1. I told the proctor that I have a VPN software and I am in China and need it to get better network.
2. The new proctor closed my exam session and I asked why do this.
3. The state of my exam results.
If one wants to isolate mule applications deployed in production/non production such that each environment is only able to access pro/non prod backend systems.
My understanding is that the best way to do this is using separate VPCs for prod and non prod and configure the required connections. Is that correct?

I think Yes, using separate VPCs for production and non-production environments is one way to isolate Mule applications and ensure that each environment can only access the appropriate backend systems.
In MCPA exam, I see comment box below each question. Could anyone tell me the purpose of these comment box ? What should I input and can leave them blank ?

hello @Huy Pham , we can leave it blank but if anyone have this question in mind , can ask to the examiner before the test also during the test (please clarify that if i have any doubt can I ask in mid of exam)

MCPA exam is more theortical and with lengthy Questions so tips are
Dont waste time on one question to read many time, just skip and leave it for the end.
Go through topic like
- types of deployment
- VPC
- security
- load Balancers
- memory mgmt
- anypoint Monitoring
- access and role mgmt
- policies
- Reusing and Publishing the API's or can say API-led architecture
- C4E
- Integration Solutions
etc
this exam is proctored, closed book, 58 multiple-choice questions, 120 minute time
I have MCPA certification in my profile but yet to schedule the exam. Is there a time limit before which i need to schedule my exam? Does it have any expiry i.e. Voucher gets removed after a certain period of time?

I am agree with Alex, but once you receive the voucher of the exam or activated in your training account then book a slot. later you can reschedule it many times. but i would not recommend because you need to ive again tim for revising the concepts or may be you need the training again.
